Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 47th All India Public Relations Conference–2025 at Hotel Emerald Grand, Sahastradhara Road. Organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), the three-day conference (December 13–15) is based on the theme “Developed India @2047: Growth with Heritage.”

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said public relations is no longer limited to information sharing but has become a key pillar of nation-building. He emphasized the need for timely, transparent and trustworthy communication between the government and the public, especially in a disaster-sensitive state like Uttarakhand.

CM Dhami highlighted Uttarakhand’s rapid development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing growth in the state economy, infrastructure, connectivity and tourism. He said Uttarakhand’s policies are emerging as models for other states and will contribute significantly to the vision of Developed India–2047.

On the occasion, Additional Secretary and Director General Information, Banshidhar Tiwari, was honoured by PRSI with a national award for excellence in good governance.
