Dehradun: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) released its State Focus Paper 2026–27 at the State Credit Seminar in Dehradun, projecting a priority sector credit potential of ₹65,916 crore — a 20.51% increase over last year.

The report was unveiled by Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, who raised concerns over the state’s low Credit–Deposit ratio and called for stronger bank participation in government schemes.

NABARD CGM Pankaj Yadav highlighted initiatives for women farmers, Agri Stack integration, expansion of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, and promotion of e-KCC to boost seamless farm credit.

Sector-wise projection:

• Agriculture: ₹23,248.82 crore

• MSME: ₹36,761.17 crore

• Other sectors: ₹5,906.27 crore

NABARD reaffirmed its focus on rural infrastructure, climate-resilient farming, MSME growth, and financial inclusion in Uttarakhand.
