Rudraprayag administration geared up to allow darshan at Kedarnath Shrine through pre-allotted tokens replacing age old wait-in-queue system this time. The Uttarakhand tourism department is tasked to allot tokens for one hour batch duration. Initially, five counters will get operational to allot tokens and subsequently counters to dispense tokens will increase upon devotees rush. There will be another round of biometric scanning of devotees reaching Kedarnath shrine which will help asses the exact number devotees reaching the Shiva’s abode.
