Kedarnath yatra registration in abeyance, Heli bookings commenced
Incessant rains and snowfall compelled the state government to put registration for Kedarnath in abeyance till May 15. However, devotees already registered prior to the decision will be allowed to go on yatra route.
More than 1.41 lakh devotees had darshan till date at Kedarnath Dham battling bad weather conditions. However, registration for Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri will continue as usual. In another development IRCTC ticket booking portal for helicopter ride to Kedarnath opened for registration now.
