Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) under the chairmanship Vinay Shankar Pandey approved relocation of the authority`s office to Nehru Colony, along with various development projects, maps, and other matters.

The board meeting, held on Monday at the authority`s auditorium, first approved the revision of budget items for the financial year 2024-25.

The board approved the construction of the authority’s office on a vacant plot of 3,113.44 square meters provided by the Housing Development Council in Nehru Colony within the authority`s jurisdiction.

The board also discussed and approved the facilities offered at the City Forest Park in Tarla Nagal, such as a cycling track, pathway, kids` play area, open gym, open area theater, and open stage. This park, built over an area of approximately 12.45 hectares, is based on a green conservation plan.

Additionally, the board approved a land pooling of 1.181 hectares in Shah Kalyanpur in Vikasnagar. Alongside various development works, the board meeting also approved proposals for the construction of eco-resorts, guest houses, and other related projects.
