Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand government has achieved a significant milestone in boosting mining revenue. During the current financial year 2024-25 (April to November), the state earned ₹650 crore from mining activities, which is a 100% increase compared to ₹324.81 crore collected in the same period last year (2023-24).

The government simplified mineral policies, introduced e-tendering and e-auctions for mineral lot allocation, and strengthened efforts to curb illegal mining, transportation, and storage. Enhanced monitoring through the e-Ravana portal has also contributed to this growth.

Over the past three years, transparent policies have consistently driven revenue growth. These initiatives are not only increasing revenue but also promoting transparency and sustainable development in the mining sector.
