On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually addressed the Akhand Ramayan Paath organized at Maa Kokila Kothagyaari Temple in Pankhu, Pithoragarh from his residence.

Extending heartfelt greetings to the people of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister prayed to Prabhu Shri Ram for peace, prosperity, and well-being across the state.

In his address, CM Dhami emphasized the deep spiritual and moral teachings embedded in the Ramayan, calling it “not just a scripture, but a guide to dignity, devotion, sacrifice, and dharma.” He said the life of Shri Ram teaches us how to uphold righteousness even in the face of adversity. He also highlighted the inspiration drawn from the purity of Maa Sita, the dedication of Lakshman, the sacrifice of Bharat, and the unwavering devotion of Hanuman ji.

The Chief Minister stated that religious events like the Akhand Paath of sacred texts help purify the soul, foster a sattvik (pure) environment, and strengthen societal bonds.

Highlighting a historic milestone, CM Dhami expressed immense pride and joy over Shri Ram Lalla celebrating Ram Navami for the second time in his grand temple at Ayodhya, marking the fulfillment of a 500-year-long spiritual aspiration.

He credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for realizing this long-cherished dream through his unwavering resolve and relentless efforts. “We are blessed to have a Pradhan Sevak like Narendra Modi ji, under whose leadership the grand temple of Shri Ram has become a reality,” he remarked.

Calling upon the people of the state, CM Dhami urged everyone to adopt the ideals of Shri Ram in their daily lives and live with honesty, compassion, service, and harmony.
