Dehradun: A high-level Task Force from the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India reviewed the progress of Deregulation and Ease of Doing Business initiatives in Uttarakhand during a meeting held in Dehradun.

The meeting was jointly chaired by Ms. Meeta Rajivlochan, Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes, and Mr. Anand Bardhan, Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand.

The Task Force appreciated the state government’s efforts toward simplifying regulations, reducing compliance burdens, and fostering an investor-friendly environment. Launched under the initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Deregulation process assists states in simplifying and making transparent key regulations related to land, building and construction, labor, and approvals.

The Task Force also advised the Uttarakhand government to further strengthen inter-departmental coordination and digital integration to sustain the momentum of reforms.
