Pilgrim Registration Office & Transit Camp for char dham devotees opened at Rishikesh

Pilgrims Registration office and transit camp for Char Dham Yatris became operational at Rishikesh on Wednesday. The office and transit camp has been built at a cost of about ₹ 22.25 crore.

Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the office and inspected facilities included under one roof for the convenience of Chardham Yatris. The Chief Minister also visited the hospital, registration office, inquiry counter and help center at the transit camp and reviewed arrangements made.

Chief Minister advised officers and staff to make it convenient for the devotees to get registration done easily besides interacting with them in a courteous manner.

On this occasion, Chief Minister also commissioned Aastha Path constructed from Dhalwala bridge to bus stand on the right bank of Chandrabhaga river in Rishikesh area at a cost of about ₹ 4.71 crore.
