Thousands of Volunteers to Gather in Haldwani on Youth Day

On January 12, the National Youth Day will be celebrated at the Gaulapar Sports Complex in Haldwani to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. This special event will see the participation of thousands of volunteers registered for the National Games, who will be assigned their responsibilities.

Former Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, MP Ajay Bhatt, and Sports Minister Rekha Arya will be present at the event. Activities such as races, folk dances, and yoga performances will take place alongside a cleanliness drive and presentations on plastic recycling initiatives.

The Sports Minister stated that Swami Vivekananda`s philosophy is the best source of inspiration for volunteers. Additionally, the State Level Youth Awards 2024-25 will also be distributed. This event aims to motivate young people and promote a sense of social responsibility.
