On the instructions of DM Savin Bansal, facilities at Vikasnagar Sub-District Hospital have been significantly enhanced. The number of registration counters and medicine distribution counters has been increased to two each. Additional sanitation workers have been deployed to ensure cleanliness, with regular monitoring in place.

During a surprise inspection in November, the DM took note of complaints about prescriptions for external medicines and issued strict warnings. Doctors have now been instructed to prescribe only the medicines available at the hospital.

Meals for admitted patients are being provided by the Dhara Self-Help Group. Heaters and electric kettles for hot water have been installed in the wards. The emergency room has been reorganized for better efficiency, and improved care facilities have been set up in the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).

These improvements are providing better services to patients and ensuring smoother operations at the hospital.
