Government Schools in Dehradun to Get a Smart Makeover with Project Utkarsh

District Magistrate Savin Bansal`s ambitious initiative, ‘Project Utkarsh’, has achieved significant success. This effort to modernize government schools has received ₹1.5 crore approval from ONGC, while HUDCO’s ₹3 crore proposal is also in the final stage. The funds will be used for smart classrooms, furniture, sports infrastructure, LED lighting, water tank repairs, and nutritious meals.

DM Bansal and Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah are actively coordinating with institutions to install smart LED screens in schools. Additionally, every school will now have newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, and biographies of great personalities, ensuring students receive both quality education and moral values.

Following the success of this project in Nainital, it is now being implemented in Dehradun. DM Bansal has also urged social organizations and major institutions to support the initiative so that government school students can benefit from modern education.
