Uttarakhand`s athletes delivered a stellar performance in the 38th National Games, securing a total of nine medals in Wushu and Badminton. State Sports Minister Rekha Arya congratulated the medal winners, praising their dedication and hard work in bringing glory to Uttarakhand.

On Saturday, Uttarakhand`s Alangbam Chanu and Mehrabam showcased exceptional talent in Wushu, winning silver medals. Additionally, Sahil Qureshi, Lavish Kunwar, Shubham, Neeraj Joshi, and Kartik Thapa earned bronze medals, adding to the state`s pride.

The Badminton teams from Uttarakhand also displayed remarkable skill, with both the men`s and women`s teams securing silver medals.

Sports Minister Rekha Arya lauded the medalists, stating, "Our athletes narrowly missed out on gold, but their performance has made the entire state proud. We hope they will secure even more gold medals in the upcoming competitions."
