Chief Secretary Reviews Plans to Host a Grand 2027 Kumbh Mela

Haridwar: Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan chaired a high-level meeting at the CCR auditorium to discuss preparations for the 2027 Kumbh Mela. The meeting saw participation from public representatives, Shri Ganga Sabha, trade associations, press clubs, and other institutions.

The Chief Secretary welcomed all participants and said that collective cooperation is vital for the success of the Mela. He emphasized that suggestions from social and local bodies will help ensure smooth arrangements and enhance the grandeur of the event.

He assured that all inputs received during the meeting would be included in the action plan, and the Mela Officer and District Magistrate will work with concerned departments to implement them promptly. The government’s aim, he added, is to organize the 2027 Kumbh Mela in a divine, grand, and well-managed manner while providing every possible facility to devotees.
