Over 300 Drones Light Up Sky as Uttarakhand Celebrates Silver Jubilee

Dehradun: To mark 25 years of Uttarakhand’s statehood, the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) organized a spectacular Drone Light Show in Dehradun under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Over 300–400 Make in India drones created stunning aerial formations showcasing the state’s spiritual heritage and cultural identity. Highlights included depictions of the descent of River Ganga, 25 Years of Statehood, OM Galaxy, Trishul, Damru, and the sacred temples of Kedarnath and Badrinath.

The show also featured formations of the Himalayan Monal, Choliya dance, folk instruments, Laadi design, and a figure in traditional Kumaoni attire, concluding with visuals of helicopter aviation and the UCADA emblem.

Additional Chief Executive Officer SS Tolia said the show reflects Uttarakhand’s blend of tradition and innovation, opening new avenues for creative tourism.
