Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the International Uttarakhandi Diaspora Conference in Dehradun. Uttarakhandis residing in various countries expressed their deep-rooted love for their homeland and pledged to contribute to its development.

The Chief Minister highlighted immense investment opportunities in sectors like adventure tourism, herbal products, agriculture, AYUSH, and power generation. He urged the diaspora to adopt villages to address the issue of migration and actively participate in the state’s progress.

During the event, expatriates like Girish Pant, Anita Sharma, Dev Raturi, and others shared their experiences and committed to supporting Uttarakhand’s development. CM Dhami honored these contributors for their dedication to the state.

The conference also showcased products by women self-help groups under the House of Himalayas Uttarakhand Brand. The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttarakhand is poised to reach new heights as it celebrates its silver jubilee year in 2025.
