THDCIL-IKCA Academy Wins 3 Gold and 5 Silver Medals at the Asian Canoe Sprint Cup
Players from the THDC-IKCA High-Performance Academy delivered an outstanding performance at the Asian Canoe Sprint Cup, held in Hong Kong from January 11 to 13, by winning three gold and five silver medals.
THDCIL CMD R.K. Vishnoi described this achievement as a proud moment for India and Uttarakhand, attributing it to the athletes` hard work and the academy`s state-of-the-art facilities.
In the key performances, Parvati Ji secured gold medals in C1 200m and C2 500m, while Gyaneshwar Singh won gold in the K1 500m event. L. Naokha Singh, Vishnu Raghunath, Prohit Baroi, and Chow. Devbrat Singh excelled in various categories, bagging silver medals.
THDCIL officials congratulated the athletes, emphasizing that this achievement marks a significant step toward strengthening the future of sports in India.
